🍽️ Crispy Cevapcici with Flavorful Tomato Rice

Ingredients
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- ground beef 600 g
- pepper, sweet pinch
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- vine tomatoes 2 pcs.
- tomato paste 1 tbsp
- long grain rice 300 g
- beef broth 400 ml
- oil 2 tbsp
- sugar pinch
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic and chop it very finely.
- 2. Wash the parsley thoroughly and shake it dry.
- 3. Pick the parsley leaves off the stems and chop them finely as well.
- 4. Add half of the chopped parsley, the minced meat, the garlic, paprika powder, salt, and pepper to a bowl.
- 5. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 6. Shape the meat mixture into even, finger-thick rolls.
- 7. Set the shaped cevapcici aside to chill.
- 8. Wash the tomatoes and remove the hard stem at the top.
- 9. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
- 10. Put the tomato cubes, tomato paste, rice, and 400 milliliters of broth into a pot.
- 11. Bring the mixture in the pot to a boil.
- 12. Let the rice cook for about 15 minutes until it is soft.
- 13. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 14. Fry the cevapcici on all sides for about 12 minutes until crispy.
- 15. Season the finished rice with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
- 16. Stir the remaining fresh parsley into the rice.
- 17. Plate the tomato rice and the cevapcici.
- 18. Serve the dish and enjoy your meal!
