🍽️ Heart-shaped Canapés with Cream Cheese Dip and Radishes

Ingredients
- Radishes 0.5 bunch
- Toast bread 8 slices
- feta 100 g
- Basil, fresh 20 g
- Lemons 1 pc.
- Cream cheese, plain 200 g
- Pesto alla Genovese 3 tsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the radishes under running water.
- 2. Remove the green leaves and the root ends of the radishes.
- 3. Cut the radishes into very small cubes.
- 4. Lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster or pan.
- 5. Cut out two large hearts with a diameter of 5.5 centimeters from each toast slice.
- 6. Cut out two small hearts with a diameter of 3 centimeters from each toast slice.
- 7. Alternatively, you can cut the toast slices into four equal squares.
- 8. Drain the feta cheese in a sieve.
- 9. Cut the feta into coarse cubes.
- 10. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
- 11. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 12. Set aside a few small, nice leaves for later decoration.
- 13. Rinse the lemon with hot water to prepare the peel.
- 14. Grate about one teaspoon of fine lemon peel.
- 15. Cut the lemon in half.
- 16. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 17. Put the remaining basil, feta, and cream cheese into a tall container.
- 18. Puree the ingredients with a hand blender until smooth.
- 19. Season the cream with pesto and black pepper.
- 20. Add the grated lemon peel and lemon juice.
- 21. Fill the cheese cream into a piping bag.
- 22. Insert a star nozzle into the piping bag.
- 23. Pipe the cream decoratively onto the heart toasts.
- 24. Sprinkle the canapés with the diced radishes.
- 25. Decorate the canapés with the reserved basil leaves.
