  1. 1. Wash the kale thoroughly and cut it into small pieces.
  2. 2. Peel the onions and garlic and dice them finely.
  3. 3. Peel the potatoes, rinse them, and cut them into cubes.
  4. 4. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pot over medium to high heat.
  5. 5. Sauté the onions and garlic for two to three minutes until they become translucent.
  6. 6. Set aside about 100 grams of the kale.
  7. 7. Add the potatoes and the remaining kale to the pot.
  8. 8. Pour in the broth and season the soup with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Cook the soup covered for 15 to 20 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  10. 10. Slice the chorizo sausage into rounds about two centimeters thick.
  11. 11. Mash the soup slightly and taste it to adjust the seasoning.
  12. 12. Add the remaining kale to the soup and cook it covered for another five to seven minutes.
  13. 13. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan.
  14. 14. Fry the sausage slices for two to three minutes on both sides.
  15. 15. Serve the soup in bowls or plates and top with the fried sausage.
