Ingredients
- ground beef 500 g
- ground pork 100 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- olives, green 40 g
- vine tomatoes 1 pc.
- feta cheese 120 g
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- garlic cloves 2 pc.
- bell peppers in a jar 150 g
- oil 4 tbsp
- mini cucumbers 2 pc.
- sour cream yogurt Greek style 150 g
- hamburger buns 4 pc.
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, season the ground meat generously with salt and pepper. Form four equal-sized patties from the mixture with your hands, which are about thumb-thick and weigh around 150 g. Set aside for a while to let them come to room temperature.
- 2. Place the olives in a sieve, let them drain, and slice them into rings. Wash the tomato, remove the core, and slice it. Drain the feta cheese and slice it as well. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, remove the thick stems, and chop it coarsely.
- 3. Peel the garlic and slice one clove thinly. Cut the bell pepper into strips. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan over high heat and fry the bell pepper together with the garlic for about 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper and keep warm.
- 4. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in another pan on the highest setting and sear the patties for about 2 minutes on each side. Then, cook them further over low to medium heat with the lid closed for approx. 6 minutes.
- 5. Wash, peel, and coarsely grate the cucumbers. Finely chop the second garlic clove or press it through a garlic press. Mix both in a bowl with the yogurt and season the tzatziki with salt and pepper.
- 6. Cut the burger buns in half and toast them briefly in a toaster. Spread both halves with tzatziki. Layer the patties, feta, tomato slices, olives, bell pepper, and garlic on the bottom halves. Sprinkle with parsley and place the top halves on top. Enjoy your meal!
