🍰 Colorful Easter Bunny Cookies

Ingredients
- flour, Type 405 200 g
- baking powder 1 tsp
- sugar 100 g
- vanilla sugar 1 packet
- eggs 1 pc
- butter 125 g
- coating chocolate, milk 150 g
- coating chocolate, white 150 g
- sugar sprinkles 6 tbsp
- chocolate lentils 100 g
- chocolate eggs 40 pcs
Instructions
- 1. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl.
- 2. Add the egg and the butter.
- 3. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough using your hands.
- 4. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 5. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
- 6. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 12 hours.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 8. Lightly dust a work surface with flour.
- 9. Roll out the dough on the floured surface.
- 10. Cut out egg shapes from the dough.
- 11. Place the dough shapes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 12. Make sure the cookies have some space between them.
- 13. Bake the cookies in the oven for about 10 minutes.
- 14. Remove the baking sheet from the oven.
- 15. Let the cookies cool down completely.
- 16. Chop the chocolate coating roughly.
- 17. Melt the chocolate coating in a double boiler.
- 18. Spread the melted chocolate over the cooled cookies.
- 19. Decorate the cookies with sugar sprinkles and chocolate buttons.
- 20. Halve the chocolate eggs.
- 21. Insert the chocolate egg halves as bunny ears into the cookies.
