Ingredients
- flaxseeds, whole 2 tbsp
- water 6 tbsp
- vegan butter alternative 120 g
- chocolate, dark 200 g
- sugar 150 g
- brown sugar 100 g
- vanilla extract 1 tsp
- wheat flour, Type 405 125 g
- salt pinch
- cocoa powder 20 g
- baking powder 1 tsp
- chocolate sprinkles, dark 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Mix the flaxseeds with the water.
- 2. Let the mixture sit for ten minutes to thicken.
- 3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 4. Line three baking trays with baking paper or non-stick baking sheets.
- 5. Melt the vegan butter in a pot or in the microwave.
- 6. Remove the butter from the heat and stir in the chocolate until melted.
- 7. Whisk the sugar, brown sugar, flaxseed mixture, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- 8. Combine the flour with salt, cocoa powder, baking powder, and chocolate chips.
- 9. Gently fold the dry mixture into the chocolate butter.
- 10. Form small balls from the dough and place them on the trays.
- 11. Bake the cookies for about ten to twelve minutes.
- 12. Let the cookies cool on the tray before removing them.
