  1. 1. Mix 300 milliliters of lukewarm water with brown sugar in a bowl.
  2. 2. Crumble the yeast into the sugar water mixture and stir well.
  3. 3. Let the yeast mixture rest for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Put 300 grams of wheat flour, whole grain flour, and salt into a mixing container.
  5. 5. Pour the yeast mixture over the flours and knead the dough for two minutes on the kneading setting.
  6. 6. Take the dough out of the container and shape it into a ball.
  7. 7. Place the dough ball in a bowl and let it rise in a warm place for about one hour.
  8. 8. Roughly chop the pecans in the cleaned mixing container for five seconds on setting 5.
  9. 9. Remove the chopped nuts and set them aside.
  10. 10. Remove the root end of the leek and cut it lengthwise.
  11. 11. Slice the leek into thin rings and rinse them thoroughly in a sieve.
  12. 12. Wash the pear, peel it, quarter it, and remove the core.
  13. 13. Dice the pear roughly.
  14. 14. Pulverize the leek and pear cubes in the mixing container for eight seconds on setting 5.
  15. 15. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius for top and bottom heat while doing this.
  16. 16. Add butter and the chopped nuts to the vegetables in the mixing container.
  17. 17. Place the lid on without the measuring cup.
  18. 18. Sauté the mixture for five minutes on the sauté setting.
  19. 19. Push the vegetables down against the side of the container.
  20. 20. Sauté the mixture for another two minutes.
  21. 21. Remove the warm vegetable-nut mixture and let it cool in a separate bowl.
  22. 22. Place the risen dough on a floured work surface.
  23. 23. Divide the cooled leek-pear mixture into two or three portions.
  24. 24. Knead the vegetable portions into the dough one after the other.
  25. 25. Gradually work the remaining flour into the dough.
  26. 26. Shape the dough into two elongated loaves.
  27. 27. Place the loaves side by side on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  28. 28. Let the loaves rise covered for another 20 minutes.
  29. 29. Bake the breadsticks in the oven for about 25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  30. 30. Let the finished sticks cool on a wire rack.
