🍳 Homemade Blackberry Jam

Ingredients
- blackberries, fresh 1 kg
- jam sugar 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the blackberries under running water.
- 2. Place the washed blackberries and the jam sugar into a cooking pot.
- 3. Heat the mixture on medium heat and bring it to a boil.
- 4. Let the jam simmer gently for about 4 minutes.
- 5. Take one teaspoon of the hot jam and place it on a cold plate.
- 6. Wait about 1 minute and check if the jam has set.
- 7. If it is still liquid, cook it for another 1 to 2 minutes and repeat the test.
- 8. Fill the hot jam immediately into four clean screw-top jars with a capacity of 250 ml each.
- 9. Seal the jars tightly.
- 10. Place the sealed jars upside down on their lids to let them cool.
- 11. Enjoy!
