  1. 1. Rinse the blackberries thoroughly and sort if necessary. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze out the juice. In a bowl, mash the blackberries with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and powdered sugar, then strain through a fine sieve.
  2. 2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the blackberry puree with vermouth and ice cubes and shake well. Then pour into 4 champagne flutes and top up with chilled champagne or sparkling wine. Serve the blackberry champagne cocktail immediately. Cheers!
