Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly. Cut them into quarters and remove the hard stem base. Place the tomato pieces into the mixing container. Put the measuring cup on top and chop the vegetables for 5 seconds on speed 5. Pour the coarse tomato pieces into a separate bowl.
  2. 2. Peel the onion and cut it into quarters. Place it in the empty mixing container. Chop it using the Turbo button for 2 seconds. Push the onion pieces down from the sides with a spatula. Add rapeseed oil, vinegar, mustard, a pinch of salt, a little sugar, and a pinch of pepper. Mix everything for 10 seconds on speed 4. Add the previously prepared tomato pieces and mix for 5 seconds on speed 3. Pour the finished tomato salsa into a bowl and rinse the mixing container.
  3. 3. Fill the mixing container with 500 milliliters of cold water. Add one teaspoon of salt and hang in the cooking insert. Wash the broccoli and cauliflower and separate them into small florets. Place 250 grams of each floret type into the cooking insert (it will become very full). Steam the vegetables using the measuring cup on the steam cooking button for 7 minutes. Remove the cooking insert, empty the water from the container, and rinse it very thoroughly with cold water. Dry the container afterwards.
  4. 4. Remove the rind from the Parmesan. Cut the bread rolls and Parmesan into pieces and place them in the mixing container. Chop both finely into crumbs using the measuring cup for 15 seconds on speed 10.
  5. 5. Add semolina, the steamed vegetables, and one egg. Mix everything for 10 seconds on speed 6. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Stir it in using the measuring cup in reverse motion for 10 seconds on speed 2. Let the mixture swell for about 10 minutes. If it is still too wet, stir in one tablespoon of semolina with a spatula and let it swell for another 5 minutes.
  6. 6. With slightly damp hands, form 8 equally sized patties from the mixture. Fry them in a pan until golden brown on both sides. Serve the patties together with the tomato salsa. Enjoy your meal! Tip: Use leftover broccoli and cauliflower florets as well as the peeled broccoli stem, for example, in a colorful vegetable soup or a delicious raw vegetable salad.
