Ingredients
- beer 150 ml
- wheat flour, type 405 180 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- parmesan, grated 100 g
- broccoli 1 pc
- frying oil 500 ml
Instructions
- 1. Add the beer gradually to a bowl and whisk it with about 150 grams of flour until you have a smooth batter.
- 2. Season the batter with salt and pepper.
- 3. Place the remaining flour on a plate.
- 4. Put the parmesan and a pinch of salt and pepper into a deep plate.
- 5. Wash the broccoli and remove the tough stalk.
- 6. Cut the broccoli into florets about 2 centimeters in size.
- 7. Heat about 2 centimeters of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 8. Coat the broccoli florets one by one first in the parmesan, then in the flour, and finally in the beer batter.
- 9. Let the breaded florets drain briefly.
- 10. Fry the broccoli poppers in the hot oil for about 2 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
- 11. Place the finished poppers on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
- 12. Serve the poppers hot.
