🍽️ Bun Flower with Carrots

Ingredients
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- water 100 ml
- carrots 2 pcs
- wheat flour Type 550 250 g
- oat flakes, fine 150 g
- yogurt, plain 150 g
- oil 2 tbsp
- salt 1 tsp
- sesame, white 1 tsp
- sunflower seeds 1 tsp
- flax seeds, whole 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Crumble the yeast into 100 milliliters of lukewarm water.
- 2. Peel the carrots and grate them coarsely.
- 3. Add 250 grams of flour, 150 grams of oat flakes, the yeast water, and the grated carrots to a bowl.
- 4. Add yogurt, oil, and salt to the bowl.
- 5. Knead the dough with a hand mixer and dough hooks until well combined.
- 6. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 8. Divide the dough into 7 equal pieces.
- 9. Shape each piece into a round bun.
- 10. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them.
- 11. Arrange the buns so that they look like a flower.
- 12. Sprinkle the buns with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and flaxseeds as desired.
- 13. Bake the bun flower in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 14. Remove the bun flower from the oven and let it cool down.
