🍽️ Buns with Raspberry-Rosemary Sauce

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- raspberries, fresh 250 g
- rosemary, fresh 10 g
- olive oil 1 tbsp
- balsamic vinegar, light 1 tsp
- salt pinch
- sugar 2 tsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- multigrain bread 8 slices
- cream cheese, plain 8 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onion in half and remove the outer skin.
- 2. Cut the onion into thin wedges.
- 3. Rinse the raspberries under running water.
- 4. Wash the rosemary and shake it dry.
- 5. Pluck the rosemary needles from the stems.
- 6. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 7. Sauté the onion wedges for about 3 to 4 minutes until translucent.
- 8. Deglaze the onions with vinegar.
- 9. Season the mixture with salt, sugar, and pepper.
- 10. Gently fold the rosemary and raspberries into the onions.
- 11. Let the mixture simmer gently for about 1 minute.
- 12. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 13. Let the sauce cool down completely.
- 14. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese onto the bread slices.
- 15. Top the bread slices with the cooled raspberry-rosemary sauce.
- 16. Enjoy the bun immediately.
