🍰 Cinnamon Brioche Casserole

Ingredients
- milk 400 ml
- heavy cream 100 ml
- vanilla sugar 1 packet
- sugar 2 tbsp
- eggs 4 pcs
- brioche braid 400 g
- butter 110 g
- brown sugar 50 g
- cinnamon 2 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Put milk, cream, vanilla sugar, sugar, and eggs into a large bowl.
- 2. Whisk the ingredients with a whisk until they are well combined.
- 3. Cut the brioche into cubes of approx. 2–3 cm.
- 4. Grease a baking dish with 1 tbsp of butter.
- 5. Place the brioche cubes in the dish and pour the milk-cream mixture over them.
- 6. Let the casserole soak in the fridge for approx. 20 minutes.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (conventional/fan).
- 8. Melt the remaining butter in a small saucepan.
- 9. Stir the brown sugar and cinnamon into the melted butter.
- 10. Pour the cinnamon-butter mixture evenly over the brioche casserole.
- 11. Bake the casserole for approx. 25 minutes in the oven until golden brown.
- 12. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool down briefly.
- 13. Serve the warm casserole with fresh fruit or vanilla sauce as desired.
