  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat). Place the cherries in a sieve and let them drain. In a bowl, mix soft butter, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and cinnamon. Cut the bread lengthwise into 3-4 slices and spread the cinnamon butter on them.
  2. 2. Grease 4 small baking dishes with butter. Layer the bread and cherries in the dishes.
  3. 3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, and remaining sugar. Pour the mixture over the bread slices and let it sit for 5 minutes. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. Serve hot or slightly cooled. Enjoy your meal!
