  1. 1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. 2. Place the bratwursts on the grill and cook them until crispy and fully cooked on all sides.
  3. 3. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings.
  4. 4. Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Add the onion rings to the pan and sauté them for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Season the onions with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
  7. 7. Stir continuously until the onions start to caramelize (turn golden brown and sweet).
  8. 8. Deglaze the onions with the beer.
  9. 9. Let the liquid reduce and thicken for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  10. 10. Wash the cherry tomatoes under cold water and pat them dry.
  11. 11. Place the tomatoes in a small pan and heat them for 2 to 3 minutes until warm.
  12. 12. Mix the cream cheese and mustard in a small bowl until you have a smooth cream.
  13. 13. Place the bread slices on the grill and toast them until golden brown.
  14. 14. Spread the mustard-cream cheese mixture generously over the toasted bread slices.
  15. 15. Top the bread with the warm tomatoes and the caramelized beer onions.
  16. 16. Place the grilled bratwursts on top of the sandwich.
  17. 17. Wash the parsley and shake off excess water.
  18. 18. Finely chop the parsley.
  19. 19. Sprinkle the parsley over the finished sandwich just before serving.
