  1. 1. Cut the corn cobs into slices about 4 centimeters thick.
  2. 2. Halve the onions, peel off the outer skin, and separate the quarters into individual layers.
  3. 3. Thoroughly wash the tomatoes under running water.
  4. 4. Rinse the peppers, halve them, remove the stem and seeds, and cut the flesh into coarse cubes.
  5. 5. Slice the bratwursts into thick rounds.
  6. 6. Thread the sausage slices onto wooden skewers as desired.
  7. 7. Rinse the herbs and shake them vigorously to remove excess water.
  8. 8. Remove the thick stems from the herbs.
  9. 9. Peel the garlic and chop it coarsely.
  10. 10. Place the herbs and garlic into a tall container.
  11. 11. Pour in olive oil and blend the mixture with a hand blender until it is fine and homogeneous.
  12. 12. Season the oil with salt and pepper to taste.
  13. 13. Brush the bratwurst skewers generously with the herb oil.
  14. 14. Place the skewers on a preheated hot grill.
  15. 15. Grill the skewers for about 6 minutes.
  16. 16. Drizzle the skewers with a little more herb oil regularly while grilling.
