  5. 5. Cut the onions in half in the meantime.
  6. 6. Remove the outer skin of the onions.
  7. 7. Slice the onions into thin rings.
  8. 8. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  9. 9. Fry the bratwursts until golden brown on all sides.
  10. 10. Remove the cooked bratwursts from the pan and set them aside.
  11. 11. Add one tablespoon of additional oil to the pan.
  12. 12. Fry the onion rings in the pan juices for about 2 minutes.
  13. 13. Dust the onions with flour and sugar.
  14. 14. Deglaze the pan with broth.
