🍽️ Crunchy Bratwurst in a Bun with Pickled Radish and Onions

Ingredients
- onions, red 1 pc.
- radishes 0.5 bunch
- vinegar 50 ml
- water 100 ml
- sugar 1 tsp
- salt 1 tsp
- parsley, fresh 5 g
- mayonnaise 4 tbsp
- mustard 2 tbsp
- sweet mustard 1 tbsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- grill sausages 4 pc.
- buns 4 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
- 2. Wash the radishes thoroughly and trim off the ends.
- 3. Slice the radishes into thin rounds.
- 4. Add vinegar, water, sugar, and salt to a pot.
- 5. Warm the mixture until the sugar has completely dissolved.
- 6. Add the onion rings and radish slices to the liquid.
- 7. Set the bowl with the vegetables aside to let them pickle.
- 8. Wash the parsley and shake off the excess water.
- 9. Pluck the parsley leaves off the stems.
- 10. Roughly chop the parsley leaves.
- 11. Add mayonnaise, mustard, and sweet mustard to a bowl.
- 12. Mix the sauces together with the chopped parsley.
- 13. Season the mustard cream to taste with salt and pepper.
- 14. Preheat your grill.
- 15. Place the bratwursts on the hot grill.
- 16. Grill the sausages for about 5 minutes until they are golden brown.
- 17. Slice the buns open, but keep them connected on one side.
- 18. Toast the buns to your liking for about 2 minutes on the grill.
- 19. Spread the mustard cream generously onto the buns.
- 20. Place one bratwurst into each bun.
- 21. Garnish the sausages with the pickled radishes and onions.
- 22. Serve the buns immediately and enjoy your meal!
