🍽️ Crispy Bratwurst Hot Dogs with Sweet-Spicy Onions

Ingredients
- vegetable onions 1 pc.
- parsley, fresh 10 g
- grilled sausages 4 pc.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sweet mustard 4 tsp
- pretzel sticks 4 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onions in half and remove the outer skin.
- 2. Cut the onion halves into thick wedges.
- 3. Wash the parsley and shake off excess water.
- 4. Pluck the small leaves off the tough stems.
- 5. Roughly chop the parsley leaves.
- 6. Make shallow diagonal cuts into the roast sausage.
- 7. Preheat your grill.
- 8. Place the sausage on the grill.
- 9. Cook the sausage for about 6 minutes until golden brown.
- 10. Place the onion wedges on the grill as well.
- 11. Cook the onions for about 5 minutes.
- 12. Transfer the grilled onion wedges into a bowl.
- 13. Add sweet mustard to the onions.
- 14. Add the chopped parsley to the onions.
- 15. Mix everything together well.
- 16. Season the mixture with salt.
- 17. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 18. Slice the pretzel rolls lengthwise.
- 19. Do not cut all the way through.
- 20. Place the sausage inside the pretzel roll.
- 21. Add the onion mixture on top of the sausage.
- 22. Serve the hot dog immediately.
- 23. If you have a grill grate, place the onions in a baking dish or small pan on the grill.
- 24. This prevents them from falling through the grate.
