  2. 2. Cut the onion halves into thick wedges.
  3. 3. Wash the parsley and shake off excess water.
  4. 4. Pluck the small leaves off the tough stems.
  5. 5. Roughly chop the parsley leaves.
  6. 6. Make shallow diagonal cuts into the roast sausage.
  7. 7. Preheat your grill.
  8. 8. Place the sausage on the grill.
  9. 9. Cook the sausage for about 6 minutes until golden brown.
  10. 10. Place the onion wedges on the grill as well.
  11. 11. Cook the onions for about 5 minutes.
  12. 12. Transfer the grilled onion wedges into a bowl.
  13. 13. Add sweet mustard to the onions.
  14. 14. Add the chopped parsley to the onions.
  15. 15. Mix everything together well.
  16. 16. Season the mixture with salt.
  17. 17. Season the mixture with pepper.
  18. 18. Slice the pretzel rolls lengthwise.
  19. 19. Do not cut all the way through.
  20. 20. Place the sausage inside the pretzel roll.
  21. 21. Add the onion mixture on top of the sausage.
  22. 22. Serve the hot dog immediately.
  23. 23. If you have a grill grate, place the onions in a baking dish or small pan on the grill.
