Ingredients
- vanilla pod 1 pc.
- cinnamon stick 2 pcs.
- star anise 1 pc.
- cloves 2 pcs.
- brown sugar 250 g
- apple juice 1 L
- vodka 700 ml
- amaretto 100 ml
Instructions
- 1. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 2. Scrape out the tiny black seeds (the pulp) from the pod.
- 3. Place the empty vanilla pod, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and cloves into an empty paper tea bag.

- 7. Put the sugar into a pot.
- 8. Melt the sugar over medium heat.
- 9. Carefully deglaze the melted sugar with apple juice.
- 10. Add the vanilla pulp and the spice bag to the liquid.
- 11. Let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes over medium heat.
- 12. Remove the spice bag from the pot.
- 13. Let the baked apple syrup cool down slightly.
- 14. Mix the vodka and Amaretto with the lukewarm syrup.
- 15. Pour the liqueur into bottles.
- 16. Seal the bottles immediately.
- 17. Enjoy the liqueur, it keeps for about one year.
