Ingredients
- Almonds, whole 50 g
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Raisins 60 g
- Apricot jam 2 tbsp
- White rum 10 ml
- Marzipan base 100 g
- Salt Pinch
- Apples, red 2 pcs
- Vanilla ice cream 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat). Coarsely chop the almonds. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, almonds, honey, raisins, apricot jam, rum, marzipan, and a pinch of salt. Wash the apples, cut them in half, and remove the core generously.
- 2. Place the apple halves cut side up in a baking dish. Fill each half with 2–3 tablespoons of the marzipan mixture. Bake in the oven for about 40–50 minutes, covering with aluminum foil after 30 minutes if necessary to prevent the raisins from burning.
- 3. Carefully remove the baked apples from the oven and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
