Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a pot with about 2 liters of salted water to a boil. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel them, and cut them into pieces of about 1 cm. When the water boils, cook the potatoes for about 6 minutes. Then rinse them in a sieve with cold water and spread them out on kitchen paper to drain.
  2. 2. Cut the onion in half in the middle, peel it, and dice it finely. Wash the thyme, pat it dry, and tie it with kitchen twine. Trim the beans, remove the ends if necessary, and cut them diagonally into pieces.
  3. 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in the cleaned pot over high heat and sauté the onion cubes together with the curry for about 2 minutes. Then add the tomato paste and fry for another 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the beans and cook with them for about 2 minutes. Then add the tomatoes, reduce the heat to medium, and stir in the broth as well as salt and sugar. Mix everything well and simmer covered for about 15 minutes.
  5. 5. In the meantime, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over high heat and fry the potatoes for approx. 10 minutes, shaking the pan regularly. After about 8 minutes, add butter and sesame to the potatoes and season with salt.
  6. 6. Remove the thyme and season the bean vegetable with salt and pepper. Plate the dish together with the sesame roasted potatoes and serve. Enjoy your meal!
