🍽️ Beans with Fried Pears and Bacon

Ingredients
- Salt pinch
- Green beans 750 g
- Pears 500 g
- South Tyrolean bacon 100 g
- Butter 3 tbsp
- Marjoram, dried 2 tsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with water and add some salt. Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil. Cover the pot.
- 2. Thoroughly wash the beans. Trim off the thin ends of the beans.
- 3. Add the prepared beans to the boiling water. Let them cook for about 10 minutes.
- 4. While the beans are cooking, peel the pears. Cut the pears in half and remove the core.
- 5. Cut the pears into wedges.
- 6. Slice the bacon.
- 7. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
- 8. Add the bacon to the hot pan and fry it until the fat renders.
- 9. Remove the fried bacon from the pan and set it aside.
- 10. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the same pan.
- 11. Place the pear wedges into the pan.
- 12. Fry the pears for about 3 minutes on each side.
- 13. Return the prepared bacon to the pan with the pears.
- 14. Season the mixture with marjoram and pepper.
- 15. Drain the cooked beans and let them drain well.
- 16. Plate the beans on a dish.
- 17. Add the fried pears and bacon to the beans on the plate.
- 18. Enjoy your meal!
