🍰 Colorful Flower Cupcakes for Mother's Day

Ingredients
- Sugar 150 g
- Salt pinch
- Wheat flour, Type 405 200 g
- Baking powder 0.5 tsp
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Sunflower oil 150 ml
- Buttermilk 150 ml
- Vanilla extract 2 tsp
- Butter 200 g
- Icing sugar 200 g
- Cream cheese, plain 200 g
- Food coloring, red 10 g
- Food coloring, green 10 g
- Food coloring, yellow 10 g
- Food coloring, blue 10 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat.
- 2. Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- 3. Mix the sugar with a pinch of salt, the flour, and the baking powder in a bowl.
- 4. Whisk the eggs with the sunflower oil, the buttermilk, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- 5. Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients.
- 6. Stir everything until a smooth batter forms.
- 7. Fill the muffin liners with the batter using a large spoon or portion scoop.
- 8. Bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
- 9. Take the cupcakes out of the oven and remove them from the tin.
- 10. Let the cupcakes cool down completely.
- 11. Beat the soft butter with the powdered sugar and one teaspoon of vanilla extract until creamy and white for 4 to 5 minutes.
- 12. Fold the cream cheese into the butter cream.
- 13. Divide the cream into four equal portions.
- 14. Color each portion with food coloring to your desired shade.
- 15. Fill the colored cream into piping bags fitted with different nozzles.
- 16. Pipe flowers and leaves from the cream onto the cupcakes.
- 17. Place the decorated cupcakes in the refrigerator until serving.
