  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  2. 2. Peel the pears.
  3. 3. Cut the pears into quarters.
  4. 4. Remove the core and seeds from the pear pieces.
  5. 5. Dice the pears into small cubes.
  6. 6. Add margarine, sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar to a large bowl.
  7. 7. Beat the ingredients until creamy using a hand mixer and a whisk.
  8. 8. Add the eggs one by one into the mixture.
  9. 9. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate small bowl.
  10. 10. Stir the flour mixture quickly with the coconut milk into the egg mixture.
  11. 11. Gently fold the diced pears into the batter.
  12. 12. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan.
  13. 13. Smooth the surface of the batter.
  14. 14. Bake the cake in the oven for about 50 to 60 minutes.
  15. 15. Check if the cake is baked golden brown.
  16. 16. Cover the surface of the cake with aluminum foil at the end of the baking time if it is getting too dark.
