  1. 1. Wash the grapes thoroughly, cut them in half, and remove seeds if desired. Wash, peel, and halve the pears, removing the core, and cut them into cubes. Wash the lemon, halve it, and squeeze out the juice.
  2. 2. In a bowl, combine the fruit with brown sugar, lemon juice, and rum, then cover and let it steep in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  3. 3. Before serving, transfer to a punch bowl, add well-chilled sparkling wine and elderflower soda, and serve the pear elderflower punch. Cheers!
