  1. 1. Peel the pears and cut them in half lengthwise.
  2. 2. Remove the core from the pear halves.
  3. 3. Add wine, sugar, and a vanilla pod to a pot.
  4. 4. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it briefly comes to a boil.
  5. 5. Remove the vanilla pod from the liquid.
  6. 6. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  7. 7. Scrape out the vanilla seeds with the back of a knife.
  8. 8. Add the vanilla seeds back into the sweetening liquid.
  9. 9. Place the pear halves into the hot syrup.
  10. 10. Simmer the pears for about 6 minutes over medium heat until tender.
  11. 11. Gently turn the pears while they cook.
  12. 12. Let the pears cool down in the remaining liquid.
  13. 13. Heat oat drink in a small pot while stirring.
  14. 14. Melt chocolate in the warm oat drink liquid.
  15. 15. Arrange the cooled pears on a plate.
  16. 16. Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream to each pear.
  17. 17. Pour the chocolate sauce over the dessert.
  18. 18. Sprinkle the dish with sliced almonds.
  19. 19. Serve the dessert immediately and enjoy.
