🍽️ Bifteki - stuffed Greek meatballs

Ingredients
- yellow onions 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- mint, fresh 20 g
- ground beef 500 g
- breadcrumbs 2 tbsp
- eggs 1 pc.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- feta 70 g
- oil 2 tbsp
- baguette 1 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Thoroughly wash the mint, pat dry, pluck the leaves from the stems, and finely chop them as well. In a bowl, mix everything well with the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Cut the feta into cubes about 1 cm in size.
- 2. Shape the meat mixture into balls about 3 cm in diameter. Press a depression into the center with your thumb, fill it with feta, and seal the opening well.
- 3. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat and brown the balls in it for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Then remove the pan from the heat and let the balls rest covered for approx. 4 minutes.
- 4. Slice the baguette and serve it together with the bifteki. Enjoy your meal!
