  1. 1. Let the frozen berries thaw.
  2. 2. Add the thawed berries including their liquid, 150 milliliters of water, and 100 grams of sugar to the mixing container.
  3. 3. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  4. 4. Scrape out the seeds (pulp) from the pod.
  5. 5. Add the vanilla seeds and the empty pod to the mixing container.
  6. 6. Simmer the mixture for 20 minutes at speed 1 and 100 degrees Celsius with the measuring cup in place.
  7. 7. Strain the mixture through a sieve to remove solid parts.
  8. 8. Pour the strained berry juice back into the mixing container.
  9. 9. Add the remaining sugar and the double corn (a strong, double-distilled grain spirit).
  10. 10. Simmer the mixture again for 2 minutes at speed 1 and 100 degrees Celsius with the measuring cup in place.
  11. 11. Bottle the liqueur into two sterile, sealable bottles (each with a capacity of 500 milliliters).
