  2. 2. Pat the chicken dry inside and out with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Clean the beer can and dry it.
  4. 4. Open the beer can and pour out about 2 tablespoons of beer.
  5. 5. Mix the spices with 2 tablespoons of beer in a bowl.
  6. 6. Rub the chicken inside and out with the spice mixture.
  7. 7. Preheat the grill and let the coals glow well.
  8. 8. Place the chicken onto the beer can.
  9. 9. Place the setup into a baking dish.
  10. 10. Grill the chicken for 60 to 80 minutes.
  11. 11. Brush the chicken with a little oil regularly while grilling.
  12. 12. Remove the chicken from the beer can after cooking.
  13. 13. Let the chicken cool down briefly.
  14. 14. Cut the chicken into pieces.
