🍽️ Grilled BBQ Tofu Skewers

Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes 150 g
- Pepper, green 1 pc.
- Pepper, yellow 1 pc.
- Mushrooms, brown 250 g
- Onions, red 2 pc.
- Tofu, plain 200 g
- BBQ sauce 6 tbsp
- Sugar beet syrup 1 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Garlic, granulated 0.25 tsp
- Sweet pepper 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Wash the vegetables under running water.
- 2. Halve the bell pepper and remove the stem and seeds.
- 3. Cut the bell pepper into large chunks.
- 4. Clean the mushrooms with a kitchen towel if necessary.
- 5. Halve the onions and remove the outer skin.
- 6. Cut the onion halves into quarters.
- 7. Pat the tofu dry with a kitchen towel.
- 8. Cut the tofu into large cubes.
- 9. Whisk the barbecue sauce with the beet syrup in a bowl.
- 10. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 11. Add garlic powder and paprika powder to the sauce.
- 12. Add the prepared vegetables and tofu to the sauce.
- 13. Mix everything thoroughly so that everything is well marinated.
- 14. Thread the vegetables and tofu onto skewers as desired.
- 15. Preheat the grill.
- 16. Place the BBQ tofu skewers on the grill.
- 17. Grill the skewers for about 8 minutes until golden brown.
- 18. Remove the skewers from the grill.
- 19. Serve the skewers immediately.
