Ingredients
- chili, ground pinch
- oil 1 tbsp
- brown sugar 5 tbsp
- tomato paste 250 g
- cumin pinch
- nutmeg, ground pinch
- paprika, sweet pinch
- balsamic vinegar, dark 2 tbsp
- soy sauce 3 tbsp
- mustard 1 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 2. Fry the chili flakes for about 1 minute.
- 3. Add the sugar and let it caramelize for about 1 minute.
- 4. Stir in the tomato paste and roast it for about 2 minutes.
- 5. Gradually sprinkle in the spices.
- 6. Deglaze the pan with vinegar and soy sauce.
- 7. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat.
- 8. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 9. Stir in mustard, salt, and pepper and adjust the seasoning.
- 10. Serve the sauce immediately with grilled meat.
