🍽️ Whiskey BBQ Grill Sauce

Ingredients
- Bacon 200 g
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- onions, yellow 2 pc.
- oil 20 ml
- sugar 1 tbsp
- salt 0.5 tsp
- pepper, black ground 0.5 tsp
- balsamic vinegar, dark 40 ml
- whiskey 150 ml
- tomatoes, chopped 800 g
Instructions
- 1. Cut the bacon into coarse pieces.
- 2. Peel the garlic clove and the onions.
- 3. Put the bacon, onions, and garlic into the mixing container.
- 4. Insert the measuring cup and chop the ingredients for 8 seconds on speed 8.
- 5. Add the oil and fry the mixture for 8 minutes on the sauté setting.
- 6. Add the sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar, whiskey, and chopped tomatoes to the container.
- 7. Place the cooking insert (splash guard) on the lid of the mixing container.
- 8. Simmer the sauce without the measuring cup for 30 minutes at 95 degrees Celsius and speed 1.
- 9. Puree the finished sauce with the measuring cup inserted for 30 seconds on speed 6.
- 10. Fill the hot sauce into sterilized jars or bottles.
- 11. Seal the containers immediately.
- 12. Place the containers upside down for about 5 minutes.
- 13. Turn the containers over and let them cool completely.
