  1. 1. Cut the bacon into coarse pieces.
  2. 2. Peel the garlic clove and the onions.
  3. 3. Put the bacon, onions, and garlic into the mixing container.
  4. 4. Insert the measuring cup and chop the ingredients for 8 seconds on speed 8.
  5. 5. Add the oil and fry the mixture for 8 minutes on the sauté setting.
  6. 6. Add the sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar, whiskey, and chopped tomatoes to the container.
  7. 7. Place the cooking insert (splash guard) on the lid of the mixing container.
  8. 8. Simmer the sauce without the measuring cup for 30 minutes at 95 degrees Celsius and speed 1.
  9. 9. Puree the finished sauce with the measuring cup inserted for 30 seconds on speed 6.
  10. 10. Fill the hot sauce into sterilized jars or bottles.
  11. 11. Seal the containers immediately.
  12. 12. Place the containers upside down for about 5 minutes.
  13. 13. Turn the containers over and let them cool completely.
