🍽️ Rustic Country Bread

Ingredients
- water 600 ml
- yeast, fresh 1 pcs
- sugar 1 tsp
- whole wheat flour 500 g
- spelt whole wheat flour 500 g
- salt 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Pour lukewarm water into a large bowl.
- 2. Crumble the yeast into the water.
- 3. Stir in the sugar.
- 4. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for ten minutes.
- 5. Gradually add the flour and the salt.
- 6. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 7. Let the dough rise for about one hour.
- 8. Sprinkle some flour on a work surface.
- 9. Fold the dough by pulling the edges inward.
- 10. Place the dough back into a bowl.
- 11. Cover the bowl with a towel.
- 12. Let the dough rise for another thirty minutes.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
- 14. Turn the dough out into a loaf pan.
- 15. Lightly score the top of the bread with a sharp knife.
- 16. Reduce the oven temperature to 230 degrees Celsius.
- 17. Bake the bread for about seventy minutes.
- 18. Remove the bread from the oven.
- 19. Let the bread cool completely.
