  1. 1. Cut the onion in half lengthwise and peel it.
  2. 2. Dice the onion finely.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic.
  4. 4. Finely chop the garlic.
  5. 5. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. 6. Sauté the onion and garlic for about 3 minutes until translucent.
  7. 7. Add ketchup, tomato paste, honey, vinegar, Herbs de Provence, paprika powder, and pepper to the pan.
  8. 8. Let the marinade simmer for 4 minutes.
  9. 9. Rinse the minute steaks under cold water.
  10. 10. Pat the steaks dry thoroughly.
  11. 11. Cut the steaks into wide strips.
  12. 12. Brush the steak strips with the prepared marinade.
  13. 13. Let the steaks marinate covered in the refrigerator.
  14. 14. Soak the wooden skewers in cold water.
  15. 15. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
  16. 16. Halve the potatoes.
  17. 17. Place the potatoes in a pot with salted water.
  18. 18. Bring the water to a boil.
  19. 19. Cook the potatoes covered over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
  20. 20. Drain the potatoes.
  21. 21. Rinse the potatoes with cold water.
  22. 22. Let the potatoes cool down.
  23. 23. Wash the leek.
  24. 24. Remove the root ends from the leek.
  25. 25. Cut the leek into pieces about 4 cm in size.
  26. 26. Add the leek pieces to the potatoes for about 3 minutes.
  27. 27. Drain the potatoes and leek.
  28. 28. Rinse the mixture with cold water.
  29. 29. Let the potatoes and leek cool down.
  30. 30. Let the steak strips drain well.
  31. 31. Fold each steak strip once.
  32. 32. Thread the folded steak strips alternately with the potatoes and leek pieces onto the soaked skewers.
  33. 33. Lightly brush the skewers with the remaining oil.
  34. 34. Season the skewers with salt and pepper.
  35. 35. Grill the skewers on an oiled grill grate over hot coals for about 7 minutes per side.
  36. 36. Alternatively, pan-fry the skewers over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes from each side.
