🍽️ Smoky BBQ Cheeseburger with Mushrooms

Ingredients
- Ground beef 500 g
- Ground pork 100 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Mushrooms, white 250 g
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Rapeseed oil 2 tbsp
- Beer 50 ml
- Salad mix 60 g
- Cheddar slices 4 slices
- Hamburger buns 4 pcs.
- mayonnaise 50 g
- ketchup 50 g
- Mustard 25 g
Instructions
- 1. Season the minced meat in a bowl generously with salt and pepper.
- 2. Shape four equal-sized patties (meatballs) of about 150 grams each, with a thickness like your thumb.
- 3. Set the patties aside to reach room temperature.
- 4. Clean the mushrooms if necessary with a kitchen towel and slice them thinly.
- 5. Halve the onion, peel it, and dice it finely.
- 6. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over high heat.
- 7. Fry the mushrooms and onions for about 5 minutes.
- 8. Season the mushroom mixture with salt and pepper.
- 9. Deglaze the pan with beer and bring the liquid to a boil.
- 10. Let the mushrooms simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 11. Keep the mushroom mixture warm.
- 12. Wash the salad and spin it dry.
- 13. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a different pan on the highest setting.
- 14. Fry the patties on both sides for about 2 minutes each over high heat.
- 15. Reduce the heat and cook the patties with the lid closed for about 6 minutes.
- 16. Top the patties with Cheddar cheese in the last 2 minutes.
- 17. Halve the burger buns and toast them briefly in a toaster.
- 18. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a bowl for the sauce.
- 19. Spread the sauce on both sides of the buns.
- 20. Place the mushrooms, patties, and salad on the bottom bun halves.
- 21. Cover the burgers with the top bun halves and serve.
