  1. 1. Season the minced meat in a bowl generously with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Shape four equal-sized patties (meatballs) of about 150 grams each, with a thickness like your thumb.
  3. 3. Set the patties aside to reach room temperature.
  4. 4. Clean the mushrooms if necessary with a kitchen towel and slice them thinly.
  5. 5. Halve the onion, peel it, and dice it finely.
  6. 6. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over high heat.
  7. 7. Fry the mushrooms and onions for about 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Season the mushroom mixture with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Deglaze the pan with beer and bring the liquid to a boil.
  10. 10. Let the mushrooms simmer for about 10 minutes.
  11. 11. Keep the mushroom mixture warm.
  12. 12. Wash the salad and spin it dry.
  13. 13. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a different pan on the highest setting.
  14. 14. Fry the patties on both sides for about 2 minutes each over high heat.
  15. 15. Reduce the heat and cook the patties with the lid closed for about 6 minutes.
  16. 16. Top the patties with Cheddar cheese in the last 2 minutes.
  17. 17. Halve the burger buns and toast them briefly in a toaster.
  18. 18. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a bowl for the sauce.
  19. 19. Spread the sauce on both sides of the buns.
  20. 20. Place the mushrooms, patties, and salad on the bottom bun halves.
  21. 21. Cover the burgers with the top bun halves and serve.
