Ingredients
- Bananas 1 pc.
- Sunflower oil 50 ml
- Sour cream 150 g
- Milk 50 ml
- Eggs 3 pcs.
- Icing sugar 120 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 200 g
- Salt pinch
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Chocolate, dark 50 g
- Whipping cream 350 g
- Brown sugar 3 tsp
- Vanilla sugar 2 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Peel the banana and mash the flesh thoroughly in a bowl with a fork. Then add the oil, sour cream, and milk and mix well.
- 2. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites in a bowl with a hand mixer and a whisk until stiff.
- 3. In another bowl, beat the egg yolks together with the icing sugar until creamy. Stir in the banana sour cream. Mix the flour, salt, and baking powder and fold them briefly into the mixture. Gently fold in the egg whites and let the batter rest for about 20 minutes.
- 4. Meanwhile, chop the chocolate roughly. In a bowl, beat 250 g of cream with a hand mixer until stiff, incorporating the cane sugar and vanilla sugar. Then chill.
- 5. Bring the remaining cream to a boil in a pot and then remove from the heat. Add the chocolate and let it melt. Keep the sauce warm at low temperature.
- 6. Stir the batter again and bake waffles one by one in the greased waffle iron. Keep them warm until all the batter is used. Dust the banana waffles with icing sugar as desired and serve each with a dollop of cream and some chocolate sauce. Enjoy your meal!
