🍰 Banana Chocolate Trifle in a Glass

Ingredients
- Eggs 1 pc.
- Whipping cream 130 g
- Chocolate, dark 50 g
- Icing sugar 40 g
- Butter cookies 100 g
- white rum 20 ml
- Bananas 2 pc.
- Chocolate sprinkles, milk chocolate 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Separate the egg. Carefully lift the yolk away from the white.
- 2. Whip the egg white in a bowl using a hand mixer and whisk until stiff.
- 3. Whip the cream in a separate bowl until stiff as well.
- 4. Bring water to a boil in a small pot.
- 5. Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
- 6. Melt the chocolate in a bowl placed over the hot water (bain-marie).
- 7. Remove the bowl from the heat and let the chocolate cool down.
- 8. Place the egg yolk in a separate bowl.
- 9. Sift powdered sugar over the egg yolk.
- 10. Whip the mixture for about 2 to 3 minutes until thick, creamy, and pale.
- 11. Slowly add the cooled chocolate to the egg yolk. Stir constantly.
- 12. Mix the mass thoroughly.
- 13. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture using a whisk.
- 14. Gently fold the stiff egg whites into the mixture using a whisk.
- 15. Chill the mousse for about 30 minutes.
- 16. Crumble the butter cookies into small pieces.
- 17. Distribute the cookie crumbs among four glasses.
- 18. Drizzle the cookies with rum.
- 19. Peel one banana.
- 20. Slice the banana into thin rounds.
- 21. Distribute the banana slices over the cookies in the glasses.
- 22. Pour the chocolate mousse over the banana slices.
- 23. Cover the glasses.
- 24. Place the glasses in a cool spot for about 2 hours.
- 25. Peel the remaining banana just before serving.
- 26. Slice the remaining banana into rounds.
- 27. Decorate the trifles with the banana slices.
- 28. Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top.
