🍽️ Grilled Meat Skewers with Yogurt Dip

Ingredients
- Cucumbers 1 pc.
- Garlic cloves 2 pc.
- Yogurt, plain 150 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Parsley, fresh 1 bunch
- Beef mince 600 g
- Pepper, sweet pinch
- Sunflower oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cucumber thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut the cucumber lengthwise into four strips.
- 3. Scrape out the seeds from the cucumber strips.
- 4. Grate the cucumber flesh coarsely.
- 5. Peel the garlic clove and chop it into fine pieces.
- 6. Put the yogurt, the grated cucumber, and half of the garlic into a bowl.
- 7. Mix the ingredients for the dip well together.
- 8. Season the dip with salt and pepper to taste.
- 9. Place the wooden skewers in a container with cold water.
- 10. Cut the onion in half.
- 11. Remove the skin from the onion.
- 12. Dice the onion into small cubes.
- 13. Wash the parsley and pat it dry.
- 14. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
- 15. Chop the parsley leaves finely.
- 16. Put the onion cubes, the parsley, the remaining garlic, the ground meat, the paprika powder, and salt into a separate bowl.
- 17. Mix the meat mixture thoroughly with your hands or a spoon.
- 18. Divide the meat mixture into eight equal portions.
- 19. Shape each portion into an elongated oval.
- 20. Take the skewers out of the water and dry them.
- 21. Insert one skewer through each meat portion.
- 22. Lightly oil the grill grate or the pan.
- 23. Place the skewers on the hot grill or in the hot pan.
- 24. Grill the skewers over direct heat for about 15 minutes.
- 25. Fry the skewers in the pan over medium heat for about 5 to 6 minutes per side.
- 26. Turn the skewers once during the cooking time.
- 27. Serve the finished skewers together with the yogurt dip.
