  1. 1. Melt the butter in a pot over low heat.
  2. 2. Line a springform pan with baking paper.
  3. 3. Place the puff pastry in the pan so that it hangs over the edge.
  4. 4. Brush the puff pastry with the melted butter.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 160 °C (convection mode).
  6. 6. Roughly crush the baklava.
  7. 7. Mix cream cheese, crème fraîche, eggs, and powdered sugar well in a bowl.
  8. 8. Spread the cream about 2 cm thick on the puff pastry.
  9. 9. Smooth the cream.
  10. 10. Top the cream with half of the baklava pieces.
  11. 11. Add the remaining cream on top.
  12. 12. Bake the cake for approx. 30–35 minutes in the oven until the cream is firm.
  13. 13. Take the Baklava Cheesecake out of the oven.
  14. 14. Let the cake cool down.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the cake with the remaining baklava pieces.
