🍽️ Crispy Bacon-Wrapped Meatballs

Ingredients
- pepper, red 1 pc.
- minced meat, mixed 800 g
- BBQ herb spice 2 tbsp
- Gouda, grated 150 g
- bacon 300 g
- maple syrup 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the bell pepper thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell pepper.
- 3. Cut the bell pepper into small cubes.
- 4. Place the minced meat into a bowl.
- 5. Add the BBQ herb seasoning to the minced meat.
- 6. Mix the minced meat and seasoning well together.
- 7. Place a sheet of baking paper on a work surface.
- 8. Spread the minced meat mixture about 2 centimeters thick on the baking paper.
- 9. Scatter the diced bell pepper evenly over the meat.
- 10. Add the cheese evenly onto the meat.
- 11. Leave the edges of the meat layer free.
- 12. Roll the minced meat mixture into a firm loaf.
- 13. Smooth the surface so that the cheese does not leak out.
- 14. Lay out another sheet of baking paper.
- 15. Cover the baking paper completely with bacon slices.
- 16. Place the minced meat loaf on the bacon.
- 17. Roll the bacon bomb tightly.
- 18. Carefully remove the baking paper.
- 19. Preheat the grill.
- 20. Place the bacon bomb in a baking dish.
- 21. Grill the bomb for about 20 minutes on each side.
- 22. Wait about an hour until the cooking time is reached.
- 23. Place the bacon bomb directly on the grill grate.
- 24. Fry the bomb for approx. 5 minutes on each side until crispy.
- 25. Remove the bomb from the grill.
- 26. Brush the bomb with maple syrup.
- 27. Serve the bacon bomb.
