  1. 1. Peel the pear, halve it, remove the core, and cut into small cubes. Bring water to a boil in a pot and puree the pear cubes in it.
  2. 2. Heat the milk in another pot. Crumble the rusks roughly into a bowl and pour the hot milk over them. Let them soak for about 3 minutes.
  3. 3. Mash the soaked rusks well with a fork. Transfer the rusk porridge to another bowl, let it cool slightly, and then serve it together with the pear porridge.
