  10. 10. Cut the avocado in half.
  11. 11. Remove the pit from the avocado.
  12. 12. Scoop out the flesh from the skin.
  13. 13. Cut the avocado flesh into small cubes.
  14. 14. Drizzle the avocado cubes with some lemon juice.
  15. 15. Put one tablespoon of olive oil into a bowl.
  16. 16. Add the grated lemon zest to the bowl.
  17. 17. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice to the bowl.
  18. 18. Add the chopped garlic to the bowl.
  19. 19. Add the chopped parsley to the bowl.
  20. 20. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
