🍽️ Fruity Asia Pesto

Ingredients
- Parsley, fresh 25 g
- Cilantro, fresh 25 g
- Organic Limes 1 pc.
- Peanuts, roasted and salted 100 g
- Rapeseed oil 125 ml
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Chili, ground pinch
- Salt pinch
- Brown sugar 3 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the fresh herbs under running water.
- 2. Let the excess water drip off the leaves.
- 3. Carefully pick the leaves off the tough stems.
- 4. Rinse the lime under warm water.
- 5. Finely grate about one teaspoon of the green lime zest.
- 6. Cut the lime in half.
- 7. Squeeze the juice out of the lime.
- 8. Place the prepared herbs, peanuts, and lime juice into a tall blending cup.
- 9. Coarsely puree the ingredients using a hand blender.
- 10. Slowly pour the oil into the blending cup while continuing to blend.
- 11. Add the soy sauce and blend everything into a smooth paste.
- 12. Season the pesto with chili flakes, salt, and sugar to taste.
- 13. Fill the finished pesto into a clean jar with a capacity of about 250 milliliters.
- 14. Optionally pour a thin layer of oil over the surface to preserve it.
- 15. Seal the jar tightly and store it in a cool place.
