🍽️ Asian Burgers with Pineapple and Curry Mayo

Ingredients
- ginger, fresh 15 g
- cabbage 200 g
- leek 0.5 pc.
- soy sauce 3 tbsp
- apricot jam 60 g
- mayonnaise 60 g
- curry powder pinch
- pineapple 0.5 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- coriander, fresh 20 g
- minced meat, mixed 600 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- oil 2 tbsp
- hamburger buns 4 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger and cut it into small cubes.
- 2. Wash the white cabbage, cut it into quarters and remove the hard core.
- 3. Cut the white cabbage into thin strips.
- 4. Rinse the leek under running water.
- 5. Cut off the root end of the leek.
- 6. Dry the leek thoroughly.
- 7. Cut the leek into thin strips or rings.
- 8. Put the white cabbage, the leek, the ginger and the spices in a bowl.
- 9. Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- 10. Knead the mixture well for approx. 1 to 2 minutes.
- 11. Set the bowl aside.
- 12. Put the jam, the mayonnaise and the curry powder in a separate bowl.
- 13. Mix the ingredients well together.
- 14. Add the remaining soy sauce.
- 15. Finally, season the sauce with the soy sauce.
- 16. Peel the pineapple.
- 17. Cut the pineapple into four slices.
- 18. Remove the hard core from the pineapple slices.
- 19. Peel the garlic.
- 20. Finely chop the garlic.
- 21. Wash the coriander.
- 22. Take half of the coriander.
- 23. Finely chop this half of the coriander.
- 24. Put the minced meat in a bowl.
- 25. Add the chopped coriander and the garlic to the minced meat.
- 26. Knead the ingredients well together.
- 27. Season the meat mixture with salt and pepper.
- 28. Form four patties (meatballs) from the mixture.
- 29. Put oil in a frying pan.
- 30. Heat the oil on medium to high heat.
- 31. Fry the patties in the pan for approx. 3 to 4 minutes on both sides.
- 32. Take the patties out of the pan.
- 33. Keep the patties warm.
- 34. Place the pineapple slices in the pan.
- 35. Fry the pineapple in the pan juices for approx. 1 minute on each side.
- 36. Halve the burger buns.
- 37. Toast the buns briefly on the grill or in the toaster.
- 38. Spread the curry mayonnaise on the buns.
- 39. Place the pineapple on the bottom halves of the buns.
- 40. Place the patties on the pineapple.
- 41. Distribute the cabbage salad on the patties.
- 42. Place the top halves of the buns on top.
