  8. 8. Remove the core from the apple halves.
  9. 9. Cut the apple flesh into small cubes.
  10. 10. Put the apple cubes into a pot.
  11. 11. Pour the lemon juice over the apples.
  12. 12. Sprinkle cinnamon over the apple-lemon mixture.
  13. 13. Add the sugar to the pot.
  14. 14. Mix all ingredients in the pot thoroughly.
  15. 15. Place the pot on the stove.
  16. 16. Set the heat to medium.
  17. 17. Bring the apple mixture to a boil.
  18. 18. Cook the apples over medium heat.
  19. 19. Stir the mixture occasionally.
  20. 20. Cook the apples for about 10 minutes.
