🍰 Apple Rose Muffins

Ingredients
- Apples, red 2 pcs
- Apple juice 300 ml
- Sugar 3 tbsp
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- Puff pastry 2 pcs
- Apricot jam 5 tsp
- Powdered sugar 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the apples into quarters and remove the core.
- 4. Slice the apple quarters thinly.
- 5. Place the apple slices in a pot with apple juice and two tablespoons of sugar.
- 6. Cook the apples for about two minutes until they are soft.
- 7. Drain the apple slices and let them cool down.
- 8. Melt the butter in a small pan.
- 9. Stir cinnamon and one tablespoon of sugar into the melted butter.
- 10. Roll out the puff pastry flat.
- 11. Cut the pastry into strips about five centimeters wide.
- 12. Brush each pastry strip with the cinnamon butter.
- 13. Spread one teaspoon of apricot jam on each strip.
- 14. Place the apple slices slightly overlapping along the long side of the pastry.
- 15. Roll the pastry tightly from the narrow side to form a rose shape.
- 16. Place each apple rose into a cup of a muffin tin.
- 17. Bake the muffins for about 15 minutes in the oven.
- 18. Sprinkle the finished muffins with powdered sugar.
- 19. Serve the muffins and enjoy.
