🍰 Crunchy Apple Crumble Cake

Ingredients
- Eggs 1 pc.
- Quark 40 % fat in total 150 g
- Milk 50 ml
- Oil 50 ml
- Wheat flour, Type 405 400 g
- Sugar 100 g
- Salt pinch
- Baking powder 1 packet
- Apples, red 6 pc.
- Butter 50 g
- Icing sugar 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Put the egg, quark, milk, and oil into a large mixing bowl and mix them well.
- 3. Add 300 grams of flour, 50 grams of sugar, a pinch of salt, and baking powder.
- 4. Knead the ingredients for two minutes on the kneading setting until you have a smooth dough.
- 5. Line a 28-centimeter springform pan with baking paper.
- 6. Lightly grease the edges of the pan.
- 7. Put the dough into the pan and press it flat so that the bottom is completely covered.
- 8. Peel the apples and cut them into quarters.
- 9. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
- 10. Cut the apple pieces into thin slices.
- 11. Put softened butter, 50 grams of sugar, and 100 grams of flour into the (empty) mixing bowl.
- 12. Process the ingredients for one minute on the dough kneading setting until you have crumbly streusel.
- 13. Chill the streusel for later.
- 14. Distribute the apple slices evenly over the dough base.
- 15. Sprinkle the prepared streusel evenly over the apples.
- 16. Bake the cake for about 60 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 17. Carefully remove the cake from the oven.
- 18. Let the cake cool in the pan.
- 19. Dust the finished cake with powdered sugar before serving.
