🍰 Apple-Cinnamon-Cake

Ingredients
- lemon 1 pc.
- apples, red 2 pc.
- butter 125 g
- brown sugar 120 g
- salt pinch
- vanilla sugar 20 g
- eggs 2 pc.
- apple sauce 180 g
- wheat flour, Type 405 250 g
- baking powder 1 tsp
- cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- crème fraîche 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection). Halve the lemon and squeeze out the juice. Peel the apples, quarter them, remove the seeds and grate them coarsely. Mix the grated apples in a bowl with 2 tbsp lemon juice.
- 2. Beat the butter, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar in a bowl until creamy using a hand mixer. Add the eggs and apple sauce and mix everything. Briefly mix in the flour, baking powder and cinnamon with the crème fraîche. Fold the grated apples into the batter.
- 3. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake the apple-cinnamon cake in the oven for about 40 minutes, until golden brown. Let it cool on a cake rack and serve. Enjoy!
